Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using LLMWise ("the Service"), operated at llmwise.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Service description

LLMWise is a multi-LLM API orchestration platform. We provide a unified API that routes requests to multiple AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, and others). Features include Chat, Compare, Blend, Judge, and Mesh modes, plus failover routing, cost optimization, and usage analytics.

3. Accounts and API keys

You must create an account via Clerk to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. API keys use the mm_sk_ prefix and must be kept secret. If you believe your key has been compromised, revoke it immediately from your API keys page. You may also bring your own provider keys (BYOK), which are encrypted at rest.

4. Credits and billing

  • New accounts receive 40 free credits that expire after 7 days.
  • Paid credits are purchased via Stripe and never expire.
  • Credit costs per request: Chat (1), Compare (3), Blend (4), Judge (5), Mesh (1). Actual cost is settled against provider charges after each request.
  • Credits are deducted before each request. If a request fails due to a provider error, credits are refunded automatically.
  • Auto top-up, if enabled, charges your saved payment method when your balance falls below the configured threshold, subject to a monthly spending cap.
  • All purchases are final. Refunds are granted at our discretion for service errors.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the acceptable use policies of underlying LLM providers.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or credit billing.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
  • Resell API access without written permission.
  • Use automated means to create accounts or abuse free trial credits.
  • Transmit malware, exploits, or content designed to disrupt the Service.

6. Rate limits

The Service enforces per-user and per-IP rate limits to ensure fair usage. Current limits per minute: Chat (90), Compare (45), Blend (30), Judge (30). Paid users receive a 1.5x multiplier; free-tier users receive a 0.6x multiplier. Exceeding rate limits returns HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header.

7. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the prompts you submit and the AI-generated outputs you receive. LLMWise does not claim ownership of your content. The LLMWise platform, brand, documentation, and website content are our intellectual property. Note that AI-generated outputs may be subject to the terms of the underlying model provider.

8. Data and privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You may enable zero-retention mode or opt out of training data collection at any time via your account settings.

9. Third-party providers

The Service routes requests to third-party LLM providers. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of responses generated by these providers. Provider outages may affect Service availability; our failover routing mitigates but does not eliminate this risk.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LLMWise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to LLMWise in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms, abuse, or non-payment. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, remaining paid credits are forfeited unless otherwise required by law. We will purge your data upon account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Delaware.
