Where your DeepSeek messages go
The part people ask about most, in plain terms.
llmwise has no account with DeepSeek's own service and no direct connection to it. Every DeepSeek message goes through OpenRouter, which passes it to a company hosting the model.
Each request asks OpenRouter only for hosts that, according to OpenRouter, don't store prompts for their own use or train on them, and skips hosts listed as running a 4-bit (fp4) build of the model.
That's also why the DeepSeek prices on our pages are what those hosts charge, not DeepSeek's own API prices.
The host that answers handles your request under its own terms.
llmwise keeps your chats so you can come back to them; delete one, or all of them, at any time. llmwise doesn't train AI models on your content.
What this isn't: a promise about any host beyond what OpenRouter reports, or that no host keeps a request for a while, for example to watch for abuse. The Privacy Policy lists every company involved.
Is DeepSeek safe to use?

On a paid plan, a $10 top-up adds up to 200 more DeepSeek V4 Pro messages, valid 12 months; DeepSeek V4.1 Flash's daily count stays as it is.
DeepSeek V4 Pro shares the monthly allowance with every other model, so using it leaves fewer messages for the rest.
DeepSeek V4 Pro or Claude Opus 5.5?
