GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna, which OpenAI launched on September 22, 2026, aren't yet available in ChatGPT's Chat mode.
So on ChatGPT Plus you can reach Astra in Work and Codex, within a 5-hour range that moves, but not in the chat you use every day. To chat with it in ChatGPT, you need an eligible ChatGPT Pro, Business or Enterprise plan.

Prices don't include tax, which is added where it applies and shown before you pay. A paid plan's month is one allowance shared by every model, so each monthly count is the most you get if all of it goes to that model. Every limit is published. Paid plans also have a monthly fair-use limit on AI cost: Pro $7.50, Max $20, Ultra $42, Studio $85. Using every message on your plan at typical sizes stays under it; very large messages and heavy research use it faster. Every limit, explained.
Astra shares each plan's monthly allowance with the other models: on Pro, up to 31 Astra messages, or 125 on GPT-6 Sol, or 31 on Claude Fable 5.1, or any mix. GPT-6 Luna's 60 a day come on top.
On a paid plan, a $10 top-up (+ applicable tax, shown before you pay) adds up to 25 more Astra messages, and lasts 12 months.
Past 64k tokens of conversation, each Astra reply counts as 2 Astra messages, and past 128k as 4. You see it in the message box first; a chat stops at 200k.
GPT-6 Astra, Sol or Luna?

GPT-6 Luna
Small, fast, and inexpensive. An everyday model: 60 messages a day on Pro, counted apart from the monthly allowance, so it never uses up your Astra messages.

How Astra in llmwise differs from ChatGPT
In llmwise, a message to GPT goes to its maker, OpenAI, or through OpenRouter when llmwise can't reach the maker directly. It's the same GPT-6 Astra.
It reasons at medium effort and shows a summary of its reasoning. A reply can be up to 8,000 tokens on Pro and 16,000 on Max and up; at the limit it offers Continue.
No voice, no Codex and none of ChatGPT's own apps. On a paid plan it can make images with image models from Google, ByteDance, Black Forest Labs, Ideogram, and Alibaba through kie.ai, from 1 Claude Haiku 4.5 message an image by model.
When ChatGPT Plus is the better buy
If GPT is the only AI you use and you chat all day, ChatGPT Plus gives you more of it for the money, plus voice and OpenAI's apps. If your GPT-6 work is coding, Plus includes Astra in Codex.
