How to turn a chat idea into a video in one step

A video can start as a conversation: a scene for an ad, a shot for a story, a way to show a product. In llmwise the conversation and the video studio are one app, so the idea doesn't have to be copied anywhere. Under a chat reply, press Make this and pick Video. The studio opens with a video prompt already written from that reply.

The reply can come from any of the 19 chat models. Make this also offers Image and Voiceover, when those are on.

1. Ask a chat model for the idea. One scene works best: who or what is in it, where, and what happens.

2. Under its reply, press Make this, then Video.

3. The studio opens on video, with a prompt of up to 400 characters written from the reply: one short shot, with the subject, the setting, the light and mood, and how the camera or the subject moves. Edit it as you like.

4. Pick a model and its settings: length, size, shape and sound. The Create button shows the price for exactly those settings.

5. Press Create. Nothing is made, and nothing is used, before you do.

The prompt is written within the studio's rules, and checked again when you press Create. It describes ordinary people rather than naming real ones, leaves out brands, logos and trademarks, and puts no words, captions or signs in the frame. Nothing sexual, violent or unsafe. If a reply can't be shown within those rules, there's no prompt, and the studio says so: “We can't make that one. Try another reply.”

  Nothing. The everyday model writes it, and it uses none of your plan's messages or credits.

• The video

  The price the Create button shows. The cheapest clip with sound at starting settings is Veo 3.1 Lite's, 7 credits (about 35¢).

• A video that fails

  Nothing. If nothing is made, nothing is used: that goes for a failed, blank, refused or blocked creation.

• On Free

  10 free credits, once per email address, with no card.

• Image: the same idea as one still picture, with the subject, the setting, the light, the mood and the style. Handy for a thumbnail or a first frame to animate.

• Voiceover: the reply's own words become the script, up to 2,500 characters (a longer reply is cut at a sentence or a word, and marked as trimmed). Pick a voice, then press Create.

• Ask for one shot, not a whole film: a clip here runs up to 10 seconds.

• Name the subject, the place and the time of day; the light and mood follow from those.

• Say how the camera moves: a slow push in, a pan, a fixed shot.

• Ask for two or three versions, then press Make this under the one you like.
